A Smooth Finish to Fundraising Week

Following a week of fundraising for Bone Cancer Research Trusts Bake Off, for which OnePlans Sue (Director) won the first ever Star Baker, the OnePlan team got together to finish off the week in style. Chris, Dennis, Nathan and Rick bravely agreed to take part in a sponsored leg wax in a final push to raise funds and awareness for Bone Cancer Research Trust. All four managed to stick it out to the end, taking the Adam Panther Tribute Fund to a total of  £15,212.50 to finish the week.  Over the years Sue, Chris and the OnePlan team have done Charity events, raffles, sponsored walks and cake sales and would appreciate any help you can give all of us with any events or donations as we continue in our mission to raise vital funds and awareness. Sue Wins Star Baker for Bone Cancer Research Trust

Our very own Director Sue Newsome took to the kitchen this week to compete for Bone Cancer Research Trusts Star Baker. Along with pins and wristbands, the team offered sweet treats from their offices and visited local businesses in order to raise as much awareness and funds as possible. The fundraiser was successful, taking Chris and Sue's current total raised to over £15,100.00! Qualification Report You may now run several different reports on qualifications for staff over any given period. Wages & Invoicing Master Cost   Overview Master Costs have been introduced to add more flexibility in the way you pay staff. Master Costs solves an issue where by staff members on the same role can be payed a separate cost for a service type for the same client. Master Costs work by linking a cost to a   Service->Staff Member->Client Invoicing Breakdown Changes   The amount rate breakdown within an invoice will now show a breakdown of each tariff and time band used and will also show bank holiday rates separately, even if the bank holiday rate matches a rate already applied within the invoice. October New Feature- Automated Hand Back Calls Report

We are excited to announce a fantastic new automated report that shows any calls staff have handed back in any given period. This is useful if you want to track why a staff member may be down on hours over a week or month. When using the bulk actions to reassign/unassign calls you have a new checkbox called "mark as hand back" If you check this box when using this bulk action, the details of the call at that moment will be saved. Under reports there is a new report that allows you to track just how many calls staff are handing back. Our development have implemented this feature due to popular demand from our clients who have been manually checking discrepancies, this update is designed to automate the process and save time! Raising vital funds in memory of Adam Panther. During August Directors Sue and Chris Newsome took to the hills of the Lake District through rain and shine (but mostly rain!) to complete a total of 23 miles walked, taking their total amount raised to over £15,000 in memory of their son, Adam Panther. Adam Panther was the much loved son of Chris and Sue Newsome, who sadly passed away after a brave battle with bone cancer. Digital Data and Technology- The Future of Healthcare

Whilst the NHS laid out plans to go paperless by 2020, wider services such as home care have been slower to catch up with the conversation. Whilst championing the transition to digital, a lack of clear guidance from the CQC has led to unsurety in the home care sector, with the correct use of digital records a hot topic at this years Tech for Care conference where reports CQC inspectors are still asking for paper records were discussed. So where do home care providers stand and what is the official guidance? At Tech for Care 2019 Katie Barton, CQC’s Senior Designer of Strategy and Intelligence clarified “[inspectors] shouldn’t be saying to you ‘I only want paper records’.
